I’m head of household why I wasn’t ask that question when I did my Tax cause I always claim head of household cause I am just ask was I Single

Head of household is calculated when you enter your income  and dependents. Go back to the personal information section  where you entered your dependents make sure the entries are correct. You must have provided more than 50% of the upkeep of the home. Did someone live with you that helped  pay rent and food.?

Correct ... the program asks for your MARITAL status which is SINGLE.   After you enter a qualifying dependent the program will let you know if you qualify for HOH filing status.  Rework the MY INFO section again.  

Did you give the other parent (whom you do not live with) permission to claim the child if you are the custodial parent according to the IRS rules ?    If so you can retain the HOH filing status however you must complete the dependent section correctly.
