I'm filing my daughters 2017tax, she is a student. I'm asked for my income on from 8615. Is it 2016 or 2017 tax

2017. Its for the same year that you are filing. Since you are filing a 2017 tax return for your daughter, you would report the taxable income from your 2017 tax return.

2017. Its for the same year that you are filing. Since you are filing a 2017 tax return for your daughter, you would report the taxable income from your 2017 tax return.
