I'm filing married but filing separately (my husband owes child support). He was locked up for 4 months last year as well. Can I mark that on my insurance section?

He didn't file a return because he didn't have an income last year either.

If you are filing married filing separately, you are not responsible for your husband's health insurance. If your husband is required to file a tax return, he may be able to claim an exemption from the shared responsibility payment, for the four months he was in prison.
