I’m doing my taxes. Filing married filing jointly. It asked for my w2 information, but never asked for my husband’s. Why?

Why is this not asking for my husband’s w2 information

Go to the income entry screen and click Add W-2.  It will ask by name which spouse the W-2 is for. When you file a joint return, every income entry screen will either have spots with your name there or ask which spouse the income is for.

The software usually asks about the things you listed the previous year.

Please go back to the INCOME section

Go to Wages and Salaries and click   UPDATE

Select to "ADD A W-2" and enter your husband's.
