I'm doing my 2020 taxes and my 2019 income is different than my 2019 tax return, by over $14,000. Why? So far it's told me the wrong information twice and has had me put in information that it should have since the program did my taxes last year. What's going on? I've never had this problem with Turbotax before. I'm afraid of problems this could cause as well as I'm very particular about my records and hate things not matching. PLEASE HELP!

Hopefully there is a simple answer like a w2 entered twice.
There could be a carryover from last year. Check your last year's return to see if you had anything extra coming forward.

I did not file online. I had the Desktop version. I have the printed copy and the information that is transferring from last years saved file seems to be different than my printed copies information.
See if you have any other .tax2019 files on your computer. Maybe you transferred from the wrong one. Or you changed your return after filing like to test?
Find your Tax file in Windows
Here's an idea. Do you still have 2019 installed? Try opening 2019 program and see if you can get your 2019 return to show up in it. Go to FILE - OPEN. See if it is the right one. Then save it again with a name and place you can find. Go to File - Save As.
Okay, I did that. I think I've found the problem... All of my deductions have disappeared??? Everything except "Other Income Taxes" in the "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid" section has changed to $0.00. How does that happen and how can I get it back? Or do I have to enter everything again???
