I'm claimed as a dependent on my parents' taxes and file my own taxes. Can my parents include me on their Affordable Care Health Plan?

I'm a college student and file a 1099-T with my taxes and earn less than $12k/year.

1) if you are a dependent you must indicate that you will be claimed as a dependent  on your return

2) the 1098-T goes on the parents return for any education  credit they may be eligible for  and on your return if you have taxable scholarships

3) you can be on the parent's insurance until you are 26 even if you are not a dependent ... if they have ACA insurance they will get a 1095-A form for their tax return ... you (as a dependent) will not need to enter anything from the 1095-A on your personal return.

and just for clarification, that statement on From 1040 (or the question in TT) asks CAN you be claimed; it does not ask have you been claimed.......

the response to CAN you be claimed is always the same - regardless of what your parents actually do - see the difference?
