1) if you are a dependent you must indicate that you will be claimed as a dependent on your return
2) the 1098-T goes on the parents return for any education credit they may be eligible for and on your return if you have taxable scholarships
3) you can be on the parent's insurance until you are 26 even if you are not a dependent ... if they have ACA insurance they will get a 1095-A form for their tax return ... you (as a dependent) will not need to enter anything from the 1095-A on your personal return.
and just for clarification, that statement on From 1040 (or the question in TT) asks CAN you be claimed; it does not ask have you been claimed.......
the response to CAN you be claimed is always the same - regardless of what your parents actually do - see the difference?
