I'm being charged for filing under business when I was filing my taxes for basic

Did you enter self-employment income and prepare a Schedule C for business expenses?

How can I see my TurboTax  fees?

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

It may be that you were placed in the business software correctly.

If you have income from a 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, or a 1099-K  you will be recognized as a business.  

• These forms represent contract, or self employment work.
• Each of them will create a Schedule C which represents self employment.
• The income will be reported on Schedule C
  • However,  you can also deduct various expenses.
• If it's for a 1099-MISC, you may need to delete the form and re-enter the income as "Other Reportable Income."
  • This won't generate a Schedule C.
