I'm a full time student using my Post 9/11 GI Bill and a Pell Grant with a part time working spouse and 2 dependents why is my EIC so low?

I've always received a EIC and a Child Tax Credit, this year I'm not receiving either. Am I missing some piece of information, I just want to know why I'm not getting either. Thank you for any assistance.

The reason that you are not getting any earned income credit is because the calculation of this credit is based on a comparison between your earned income and your adjusted gross income. Both your earned income and adjusted gross income are very low. Please refer to the following FAQ to learn more about what is considered earned income for the purposes of this credit as well as what the requirements are to claim this credit. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3299933https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4790637

The reason that you are not getting the child tax credit is because you have no tax liability. The child tax credit is only meant to offset your tax liability. If your spouse has earned income in excess of $3000, you might be eligible for the additional child tax credit. Please refer to the following FAQ to learn more. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4862549
