I'm 1099 with more than one payer

I recently became a health insurance broker. I haven't received any income yet, but even when I do, it'll be from 6 different insurance companies. How do I enter that into the payer EIN or SSN area?

Using Turbo Tax Self Employed you will be able to enter each 1099 you received individually.  Once you log onto the software;

  • Go to Federal Taxes, then
  • Income and Wages (sample view in screen shot # 1 below).
  • From here, click continue then you will be taken to the screen where you will enter each 1099's (screen shot # 2 below) individually.

You will find the EIN number of the payee on the 1099 located under the Payee's name and address on the left side of the form, (sample of location is screen shot # 3).  Whatever the number is in this location, it is the number to enter for the payee's EIN requested in the software.
