Do you mean you used the CD/download software for 2019? If so, you will not be able to transfer 2019 to 2020. Sorry.
If you used desktop software downloaded/installed from a CD to your own computer, then the tax files are stored locally on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive. They are not stored online. If you cannot recover them due to a hard drive failure, etc. you can get a free transcript from the IRS or for a fee of $50, an actual copy of your tax return.

I have the software, but not the 2019 return I've done using turbotax - the turbotax file. I've saved a PDF of last year's return.
The pdf is not going to transfer the data. Sorry.....if you do not have the tax file then you will start 2020 from scratch.
Hi are you pretty sure that there is no way to import a PDF? I have a carry-over loss from many years ago, if I don't import from previous year, would I lose all these?
