All of the information about the settlement payments is on the settlement web site. Note the following statements from that web site.
"Consumers to Receive Payments Automatically, Without Filing a Claim"
"The settlement is being administered by a third-party administrator, please do not contact Intuit [TurboTax] with questions."
You should also look at the Common Questions on the settlement web site.
The checks are being sent by the settlement administrator, not by TurboTax.
6. What if I need my payment reissued?
Answer:
Payments will be mailing throughout the month of May 2023. Please allow adequate time for delivery. It's possible your payment will not be mailed until late May, and therefore you may not receive your payment until early June.
If you have not received your payment by mid-June, you can visit this website and request a reissue. You will need the Claimant ID Number from the email notice you may have received, or that number is also located on the tear-off portion of your check if you have that. If you received an email notice, please keep that email so that you may reference your Claimant ID Number. Please check back in mid-June if you need to request a reissue, after all checks have been mailed.
I had lost my restitution check. I found it, but it has expired. How do I obtain a new one?
You will need to contact the IRS to see if they will issue you a new check.
