When you extend, you are making your best guess at what your real tax information is. You can use TurboTax Easy Extension and TaxCaster to estimate your income and your total tax due.

I would also encourage you to call your employers and ask them to send you new copies of your W2s so you can accurately file your 2016 tax return.
