I lived on my own all of 2017 until November of 2017. I moved in temporarily with a family member. Would I use my old address to file head of house hold ?

Head of Household. The Head of Household status generally applies if you are not married and have paid more than half the cost of maintaining a home for yourself and a qualifying person. So the question applies to the whole years costs and the qualifying person must live with you more than half the year.
