I live with my parents and they are head of house hold, I am trying to prepare my taxes and it is making me head of household

The only way you can file with a status of HOH, is if you are claiming qualifying dependents. If you live with your parents, you could (but I doubt it) have qualifying dependents. So what's your specific situation? Why are you parents not filing a joint tax return, filing as Married Filing Joint and claiming you as their dependent? (Assuming you qualify as their dependent.)

I am 22 years old... I filed my taxes last year for the first time, and I am doing so this time. But a caption popped up when I was filing that said I was filing HOH and it also said I was married filing separately, although I clearly check the single option.

Sounds to me like you may have logged in with the wrong account, and it pulled information from last year's return on that account. I am of course, assuming you filed single last year too. Use this tool to check this out, and find the right account.

You can't be a head of household unless you have a qualifying child dependent and provide more than half the living expenses of your home.  (Your parent also can't be head of household if they are living together, by the way.  Even though one of them may be the "head" of the household in common terms, the tax filing status means something different.  

Each Turbotax Online account can only file one tax return.  If you need to file more than one return, you need to create additional accounts.  You can have multiple accounts linked to one email address for notifications, just with different user names.  You may have logged into your parents account.

You will need to make a new accounts for yourself.
