I live in Texas and the tax deadline has been extended to 6/15. Can't seem to find an answer regarding how to file for that extension within TurboTax?

Never mind. Looks like the extension is automatic for anyone residing in Texas.

In general, you are allowed 6 months extension.  if you owe taxes, you must file an extension (Form 4868)  to avoid penalty for not filing on time. You will be able to e-File IRS Tax Extension ( Form 4868) by mid-March 2021 and no later than 4/15/2021.  Any tax liability must be paid with the extension to avoid additional tax assessment.
