i live in pa. turbo tax program did not transfer my w2 income from group life insurance over $50,000 to my state forms like it did last year. is this correct?

Your employer should have factored in the amount in Box 12 coded C in arriving at your PA taxable income listed in box 16.  It should not need to transfer to PA
