Some forms aren't available to be E-filed yet. This could be because the State hasn't released the form to be electronically filed. Once they do release it, it might take a few days for TurboTax to integrate it into the system.
If the form says its Unsupported, it means that it is not supported by TurboTax, and you wont be able to file it electronically, instead you will have to print and mail either the form itself or the whole return.
Please refer to the link above for when this form will be ready to be printed, or E-filed.
No it still doesn’t let me efile. Guess I’ll just have to mail it in.
I am also unable to file my MN taxes electronically. MN has always accepted my electronic tax return submission thru Turbotax. This year I owe, as I have in years past, but I am unable to file and now have to print the documents and send them in. I spent 45 min on the phone with a Turbotax agent, who was lovely, but we couldn't figure out what is different.
My tax situation has not changed. Spouse and I have the same jobs, same dependents, claiming same credits, owe an amount similar to years past.
Can Turbotax please explain what change prevents me from filing MN electronically?
Do you have a Form 4864 on your Federal Return? If so, it's possible that your state is not accepting that form yet. Try again at the end of the week after the weekly update.
