Since you are not the owner of the vehicle you are not eligible for the EV credit.
As DoninGA states, you can not claim the tax credit. The leasing company will get the tax credit for the EV.
Some leasing companies (they aren't required to do so) will pass that savings on to the lessee in the form of lower lease payments or the amount of the tax credit is deducted from the price at the time of the lease. It sounds like that is what happened in your situation.

Under this situation, should I report anything to IRS when I file my tax return?

Concerning the leased vehicle? No.
No, if you are leasing a car, whether or not the leasing company passes on their credit in terms of savings to you, there is nothing for you to report to the IRS. You will only report something to the IRS if you yourself are eligible to claim the credit and are claiming the credit or if you personally took the credit when you purchased the car.
Again, since a lease does not qualify, there is nothing for you to report.
