I just purchased TT 2023 Deluxe DL but it is telling me to "start my 2022 return", which I did LAST YEAR, and there is nowhere to start on 2023.

Only the 2023 desktop versions are available at this time.

The 2023 online versions will be available within the next couple of weeks.

Where did you purchase the download?

This is the TurboTax website to purchase one of the 2023 TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

When you start the 2023 TurboTax desktop program it will ask you if you want to transfer the 2022 tax data to the 2023 tax return.  The tax data file for 2022 would be on your computer if you used the same computer for the 2022 tax return with TurboTax.  Or if you used the 2022 TurboTax online editions you can download the 2022 tax data file from the online tax return.

If you purchased the download from TurboTax and the desktop icon shows 2022 and the program bar at the top of the desktop program screen shows the TurboTax edition for 2022 then you can request a refund.
