Depends on what you are referring to by "upload" -
If you mean an actual physical copy of the W2, you do not need to send one with an electronic filing (unlike paper filing where the IRS requests a physical copy of the W2 to be attached to the return). However, you should have entered the information from the W2 itself to report her income and withholding etc. After filing out the personal information section, the program asks about W2s in the income section.
The term upload can also be used to refer to the mobile app where you can take a picture of your W2 and the program will read the numbers and fill out the form for you. But, it does not include the picture of the W2 with your return.
