I just did my taxes and forgot to enter my IP pin
It is not a big problem if you didn't enter your IP PIN when you e-filed your return; it is an easy fix. If you are one of the users that are required to use an IRS issued Identity Protection(IP) Pin, and you skipped over it or you entered it incorrectly, your return will be rejected.
Once it has been rejected, you will have an opportunity to go back in, add your IP Pin and e-file again. If you can't find your IP Pin (CP01A letter), see below for instructions on how to retrieve it. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3388576
