I just bought connect with an expert. When I click on the "connect with an expert", a screen pops up that is blank/white. What is wrong?

I bought connect with an expert. I logged out of my turbotax and back in again. I still get a white pop up box when I click on "connect with an expert" instead of an option to have someone call me. Completely blank. What do I need to do?

I just bought connect with an expert. When I click on the "connect with an expert", a screen pops up that is blank/white. What is wrong?

Try restarting your device, or using a different browser. Chrome generally works well. Check your Internet connection Try clearing your cache and cookies.  If after trying all of the options mentioned you still have the same problem:

If you have entered your W-2 form in TurboTax, you can connect with a live agent to review your entries or provide other assistance as needed if you are using a Live edition of TurboTax that includes live assistance. See below for more information.

 

As you prepare your taxes in TurboTax Live, you can quickly connect with one of our credentialed tax experts:

 

  1. Select the floating Live help button.
  2. Select Connect with live help at the top of the chat window.
  3. Enter your question or topic area and select Continue.
  4. Select your preferred method for connecting with a tax expert.

If you connect live with a tax expert in TurboTax Online, the expert will be able to see your screen and review your entries with you. See this help article for more information.

 

The process is a little different if you're using the TurboTax mobile app. We have instructions for how to connect with a tax expert on the app.

Also, are you using any ad blockers or script blockers in your browser?   If so, you might have to temporarily turn those off or adjust the settings down temporarily.    Just thinking out loud how I would approach it.
