I inherited my mother's dividends from Prudential so I get a monthly income from that. I didn't put anything into the fund. Do I report that?

I'm in California.  The monthly income is about 1600.00.  I also work full-time.

Yes, you claim the income on your Federal and state returns under the 1099-Div section, by entering 1099-DIV in Search on the upper right then the Jump To.
