Why want this turbo tax software let me correct the errors?

Using TT Online, most edits must be done in the original data entry screen for the particular item. What exactly needs to be fixed?

Western & Southern Financial Group, Inc was entered manually when I received the Form 1040-R - amount of $21,361.68, then when I downloaded from Wells Fargo, it was duplicated.  Also Schedule E has errors, which I can fix if I can get back to it. Turbo Tax software will not let me go back.  If I cannot get these errors corrected, I will have to get a different Tax software and start over. I will not file this tax report as is. For some reason, Turbo Tax will not let you review the File until you run a copy of the tax return, then it blocks you out so you cannot make any changes. It's very frustrating.  Also, the sign-in page shows I am due a Federal Refund of $5,661 and a VA refund of $500. The Tax Return that I am given to file shows a Federal amount that I have over paid is $2,308, and a VA tax due with penalty of $608. Do you see why I am frustrated? I have spent way too much time with this problem.  I am giving up on Turbo Tax.

to resume work on a return TurboTax thinks you finished,

use the bizarre command "Add a State".

Silly, but that's how TurboTax does it.
