I have w2’s from 7 different states this year. TT wants $45 for each state. Do you know of any break for this or shall I just go find a new tax prep app?

I know of no price break for that.   You would have to search other providers to see what their policies are about that many state returns.

ADDENDUM

TurboTax has other limits as well in regard to the number of state returns:

• If you use TurboTax Online, you can file one federal return with up to five state returns per Intuit Account.
• If you use TurboTax Desktop, you can file five federal returns with up to three state returns each.
