I'm very sorry for your loss.
You'll want to start the return as if your parent was still alive. During the questionnaire, there will be a spot for you to check "This person passed away before filing the tax return". You'll want to check that option. Then file the rest of the return normally. When you print out the documents to file them, on the signature line it will say "Deceased".

I filed my father's tax in April via Turbo Tax not knowing I was to include Form 1310. Should I send this form NOW separately to the same address where I mailed his completed taxes? I was instructed by Turbo Tax to NOT file electronically. The IRS said they do not see I was authorized to complete his taxes.
We purchased Live Deluxe at the time we filed. Does this enable me to speak directly with someone now?
Yes if you used "Live" you can still ask for that Live support.
You can arrange for the Live help you are paying the extra fee for with your questions from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time.
