File / New Tax Return
Premier is a Desktop installed program. It's called Premium in the Online version. Could you be in the Online web version by accident?
The Desktop program is blue across the top and the menu items like Federal, State, Review, File go across the top. You don't need to log in to use the Desktop program. The Online version has the menu items going down the left side in a black or grey column.
How to get started with the Desktop program, install and activate it

Here's how to start a new return in the Windows Desktop program. Or do you have a Mac?
FYI - Important
Also be careful if the second return name is the same as another return. Turbo Tax saves the tax returns as 2025 Smith J Form 1040 Individual Tax Return.tax2025. So if you have two or more returns for people that have the same last name and first initial the second return will overwrite the first one.
So you have to be sure to first save the returns with names completely different to keep them apart. Don't use the default name given by the program. You need to go to FILE - SAVE AS and give the return a unique name you can tell apart. At least add the full first name. You don't have to use or accept the name Turbo Tax gives it. I save all my returns with different names.
The app stays stuck with first return and not seeing an option to start 2nd return.
@BFS57 Are you on Mac? Go up to the very top of the Mac's screen, way up to top left of the screen. There is a little apple there in the corner. Next to it, if you have TT open, it will show TurboTax. To the right of those words you can click on File and get the drop down that will give you "New Tax Return".
Are you using the desktop version? Online does not have this feature.
Thanks. I'm a Mac newbie.
