Only the child under age 17 is eligible for the child tax credit (up to $2000 depending on your other income and taxes.). At age 17 and older, the children are eligible for a $500 dependent credit only. Make sure you indicated the children lived with you all year, and make they are listed with their correct social security number and that you check the box that the SSN is "valid for work" even if they are not currently working.
The children age 17 and 18 are only eligible for the Other Dependent credit of $500 each.
Go back to My Info on the left side of the online program screen. Edit the dependent and carefully check your answers to the questions.
Make sure you select them as your Child, that you selected that they lived in your home for the Whole Year, temporary absence for education is deemed living in your home. That they did NOT provide over one-half of their own support (You Did), that you indicated there was no one else in the household providing support to them, and that you did NOT check the box labeled Not valid for employment in the Social Security number section.
If all your answers are correct then delete them as a dependent and re-enter.
There is a Child tax credit for dependent children aged less than 17. This credit is up to $2,200 per child. Only your child aged 13 would be eligible.
For dependents aged 17 and over, there is the Other dependent credit of $500 per dependent for your 2 older children.
If TurboTax says they are not eligible, please review carefully the information you have entered for each of them in the My Info section.
