I have printed my 1040 and plan to mail it. Where do I sign it? There's no signature blank.

Look in the very middle of the first page.

Since page 1 & 2 of the new form 1040 are half-pages, the IRS is allowing the 1040 to be printed on the face of one full 8.5x11 page...so the signature ends up in the middle of the page.
