Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I have not received my 2021 returns even though they have both been accepted.

I filed my state and federal taxes on January 30th, 2022. I tried to get to it as soon as possible, however even until this day I have not seen any of my refund. Every time I check through IRS.gov, I receive the message “We cannot provide any information about your refund.” and it has been impossible for me to contact a representative regarding my issue. What steps do I take next?

If you have confirmed that the returns were accepted, and you electronically filed January 30th, 2022, you should have received your refund or a letter from the IRS and state tax department.

To check on your federal refund, you can set up an personal account on www.irs.gov.  You would be able to access information about your return, refund and any reasons why you have not received the refund.  It is often difficult to contact the IRS via phone.  Setting up a personal account is often a faster way to obtain the information.

You would need to contact your state Department of Revenue to check on your state refund.
