If you did not receive any type of taxable income in 2024 there is no need or reason to file a 2024 tax return.

 

Unless you also received a Form 1095-A for your health insurance through one of the State Marketplace Exchanges or from healthcare.gov then you must file a tax return.

If you did not receive any type of taxable income in 2024 there is no need or reason to file a 2024 tax return.

Additional, I live in CA, an accounting guy told me I must file tax if I pay home mortgage even if I have no income, wondering if it make sense.

No, that does not make sense.  Mortgage interest is an itemized deduction and is useless since you have no income
