I have moved and live now in Germany since February 2017. Expect I have to file for portion of the year. How can I get Turbo Tax? Download? Please advise. Thank you.

Your phrase "file for portion of the year" raises some questions if you are able use TurboTax or not.

Are you a US Citizen or Green Card holder?  If not, you MIGHT not be able to use TurboTax.

If you were NOT a US Citizen or Green Card holder, how many days were you in the US in 2017?  In 2016?  In 2015?  What visa did you have (if any)?

TurboTax software is available in multiple ways and should be accessible from your location.  For the 2017 tax year, the desktop software is currently available for download here.

You may also consider using the online or mobile versions of TurboTax.  The online/mobile version of TurboTax for 2017 will not be active until early December 2017.  As long as you have internet access you should have no problem using either the desktop or online/mobile versions.  TurboTax often runs “early bird” pricing specials so check back on the website in December to see what kind of deals are available. 

Please note that tax forms for the 2017 tax year have not been finalized yet and thus will not be available for completing a full return using the software.  For updates on forms availability check here
