Past jobs you had in 2022? They have until Jan 31 to send them to you. Keep waiting. Or ask them for another copy. Or do you need to file for prior years too? If you need help filing 2021 or prior post back. Online is only good for 2022. You need to file each year separate.
Since you mentioned not filing taxes for the past 6 years and not having your W2, be aware that you can only use the W2's for the year that you received the income. Meaning, if you worked for someone in 2020, you cannot include that W2 on your 2022 tax return, you would need to file a 2020 return to report that income.
i need to file prior years, havent filed since 2016 when i started working. Been working ever since but i have not filed.
You can only go back three years from the due date of your tax return to amend a return to receive a refund of taxes. So, you only need to prepare tax returns for 2019 and forward, unless you owed taxes in years previous to then.
To get a copy of a W-2 from Social Security https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501
WORK HISTORY https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ssa-7050.pdf
You can get a wage and income transcript from the IRS: It will not show the actual W-2, 1099’s, etc, but will show the income information the IRS received. It will not, however, show your state information. It will only show the federal information.
