You can compare the two different deductions (Standard and Itemized) by taking the steps below. You can switch back at any time using the same method, should you change your mind.

1.) In the search bar in the upper right-hand corner, type Itemized Deductions, Choosing and click on the Jump To link

2.) Click on the Change My Deduction box to toggle back and forth between the two.

This screen will also tell you what your Itemized Deduction amount is and compare it to your Standard Deduction amount.
