You don't normally get a "credit" for an HSA. If you are an employee, the contributions on your W-2 are removed from your income in boxes 1, 3, and 5 before your W-2 is even printed - so you are not taxed on these contributions (so no deduction or credit).
Only if you make HSA contributions directly to the HSA custodian (i.e., not through your employer) will you even see a deduction.
