I have completed and paid for my taxes, however, I am stuck on a screen that says "The IRS hasn't finalized one or more of your returns"...I've never had this happen .

If your state or federal return requires forms that are not yet ready for filing, or if you state is not accepting tax returns yet, you will be unable to file.  You can sign up for email notification, or check back every two or three days.  When the forms are ready, you will be able to file.
