You cannot prepare a Schedule C using online TurboTax unless you upgrade to Self-Employed---which in your case might not be worth it.

Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free.  There are 8  free software versions available from the IRS Free File site

Sorry you need to upgrade to enter expenses.  Since your income is under $400 you won't pay self employment tax on it.  So I wouldn't bother entering expenses.

You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version

Or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs. All the Desktop programs have the same forms.  You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions. So you could even buy Deluxe.

Expenses from self-employment get entered using TurboTax Self-Employed.  You do have the option of using TurboTax Deluxe, a less expensive option; however, you will not be able to enter any expenses associated with your self-employment.
