Make sure you claim your child for the whole year even though they were not alive for the whole year.

What what do you mean by claiming your child for the entire year. It doesn't give you a place on your return to say how long you had the child

In My Info you are asked how long the child lived with you. For a child born in 2018 you have to say the whole year. Go to My Info and click edit by your child’s name, then go through the screens again.
