I have a mistake in my return but cannot find it.how can i cancel what i have done and start over?

I THOUGHT I WAS FINISHED BOTH FEDERAL AND STATE. IT SHOWED I SHOULD GET A FEDERAL REFUND OF AROUND $1000 DOLLARS BUT STATE WAS OVER $4000 DOLLAR RETURN.I DO NOT THINK THAT WOULD BE CORRECT.I HAVE TRIED TO GO BACK AND FIND A MISTAKE BUT AM NOT SUCCESSFUL. SO I WANT TO START OVER FROM SCRATCH. HOW CAN I CANCEL WHAT I HAVE ALREADY DONE..HELP

If you have not already filed either your federal or state returns, you can create a new return in the CD/Download versions of TurboTax.  Simply select the File tab at the top left of the screen, then New Return.  This will bring you to the starting point to create a new federal tax return and, after your federal information is entered, a new state return.
