I have a minor child receiving social security benefits NOT because of disability or death, but because I am a senior. Does he need report this income?

He has other income, but not enough that he would need to file unless his Social Security income needs be reported.

If the child is required to file then the SS benefits are also reported and could become partially taxable ...
