I have a letter from the IRS saying that I have a $800 credit on my 2017 taxes, but I don’t know how to make sure it is applied to my 2018 return. Where do I enter that here in the TurboTax App?

Please see screenshots below.
Sign into your account, start your turn and pick up where you left off.
Click Federal on the left side-bar
Click Deductions & Credits
Scroll down and click open "Other Income Taxes" (in Desktop under "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid")
Scroll down to 2017 Refund Applied to 2018 and enter the amount, in your case 800
