I have a Form 1099-DIV that has my name as well as my girlfriend’s name on it. We are not married and we are filing our taxes separately. How do I file this?

I read somewhere that we have to “split” the dividend amount between our tax returns. Is there a way to “divide” them so that one of us receives all of the dividends and the other person then doesn’t need to put anything down?
