You do not enter the child's earned income on your tax return.  If the income from wages reported to him on a W-2 he does not have to file a tax return since his income is under the limit to file.  The limit for filing Single is $14,600.

If your son has income in 2024, you don't report your son's income on your tax return.

You can still claim him as a dependent if he didn't provide more than half of his own support for the year and he was under 19 at the end of 2024 (or under 24 and a full-time student).

If the income he made is wages reported on a form W-2, he's not required to file a tax return.

If the income is reported on a form 1099-NEC, he is required to file a tax return, as this income is self-employed income.

If your dependent son files his own return, he has to indicate in the My Info section of TurboTax that he can be claimed as a dependent by another taxpayer.
