It's okay if it says "Gambling Winnings". I doesn't make any difference to the IRS as long as the amount is there.

1099. I reported on Turbo Tax as "prize winnings", and then it shows up as Gambling Winnings on the final form 1040.

No, it's okay. It doesn't make any difference to the IRS as long as the amount in on there. Sometimes raffle prizes and things like that are considered "gambling winnings".
