I have a 1099-DIV with 3,000 line items. First, can Turbo tax handle a 1099-DIV this big? Do I have to enter each line item manually?

You should have a Consolidated 1099-DIV - it's usually at the front of your brokerage statement. Enter it and skip the individual entries.
