I have a 10 year old dependent that lived with me all year. System gave her dependent status, but won't give me the Child Tax Credit. How do I fix this?

If the dependent is not your child, then they are only eligible for the Other Dependent Tax Credit of $500.

Is this child you own bio-child---or someone else's child who lived with you in 2019?  If she is not your own child you will not get the child tax credit.  You can only get the $500 credit for other dependents.
