I have 2 w2's one of which shows income of 6 cents. from my previous employer of the following year. ,it will not let me efile my tax file. what are my options?

I recived a w2 from my previous employer in the amount of 6 cents.i did not work for them in the year 2017.i left the establishment December of 2016. I added this w2 to my taxes and now it will not let me efile my return. what are my options? thanks in advance

You do not need to enter the form W-2 showing 6 cents on your tax return as the amount reported of 6 cents is rounded to 0.

You must delete this form W-2 and resubmit your return.

You do not need to enter the form W-2 showing 6 cents on your tax return as the amount reported of 6 cents is rounded to 0.

You must delete this form W-2 and resubmit your return.

Yes, you are correct, but the IRS rounds all amounts to the nearest dollar, (0 to 49 cents rounded down, 50 to 99 cents rounded up) and your form W-2 is rounded to 0. And there is no need to report a 0 income. The IRS flags any form with 0 income as an error.
