I had two jobs in 2023. I just got my W2 from my other employer, how do I also file this form when I did my other job a couple of weeks ago?

If you mean that you have already filed the 2023 tax return, then you will need to amend the return that was filed to add the W-2.

If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return. An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

ALL of your income was supposed to be included on just one tax return.  Did you already e-file?  If so, now you have to wait for the original tax return to be accepted and fully processed, and then you will have to amend using a special form called a 1040X in order to add that other W-2.

Going forward----never e-file until you have all of your income for the year entered.  It all goes on the same tax return.

Do not expect quick results from amending.  It will take the IRS 4-6 months to process an amended return.
