I had two different health insurance plans in 2018. One was through my mothers company and then ACA half-way through the year. What do I do?

You would report both. First, report the coverage from your mothers for the months you had it, and then claim the marketplace insurance you had for the remainder of the year. Turbo Tax will walk you through how to report both and for the months that you had coverage.

What if her company paid for the insurance and we don't have the information about a monthly premium? I have to enter in an amount paid for a premium or else it wants to penalize me for not having health coverage.
