I had no choice but to choose to mail my state tax return, but the pdf has a watermark “Do not mail - E file only”. How do I remove that watermark?

What year?  It's too early to file 2019 federal or state returns.  All the forms aren't ready yet.

this is for NY.  they want you to e-file.   I don't think TT charges for e-filing NY.   however, you can neither e-file or mail it in if all the forms for your return are not final.
